GEORGETOWN, Ky. (FOX 56) — It's Election Day for Kentucky's 2024 primaries, and voters are headed to the polls to cast their votes.
According to Secretary of State Michael Adams, 75,204 Kentuckians took part in no-excuse early voting as of Monday morning.
The results of Tuesday's primary races will determine which candidates will be on the ballot in the Nov. 5 general election.
In Scott County, 21 candidates are vying for one of 16 spots in the Georgetown City Council primary. Those 16 will then move on to the general election.
